- Shopfunds purchases gift cards from large retailers and restaurants in bulk. Retailers include grocery, gasoline, home improvement, clothing, specialty stores and restaurants and entertainment.
- Since we purchase in such large quantities, the retail stores/restaurants give us a good discount. We pass the majority of that discount on to community group.
- The group sells the gift cards at face value to their supporters and collects the difference.
